Important Updates

 

• SATURDAY PARK ENTRY

 While you won't need a reservation for the day of the ceremony (Friday, September 20th), those planning to re-enter the park Saturday or Sunday MUST make reservations online at 8 AM sharp, 9/14/21:

www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086745. This is a new policy with the park, so please call Matty if you need any assistance.

• Entrance Fees

The entrance fee for Yosemite National Park is $35 (per vehicle - hence, carpooling is recommended). Your park pass is valid for 7 days from the date of purchase, weekends excluded, and can be used as frequently as needed to enter and re-enter the park during that 7 day period. Cash, credit card, or debit card is accepted.

• Thursday,  September 19th - Day Before The Wedding

Enjoy a day at the spa or a fishing excursion for those planning to arrive earlier than Thursday night! If you want to learn more, check in with Kristina or Matty.

8-9 PM

Smores, games, and nightcaps at the Rush Creek Resort Bar. Come hang out for a sweet treat with friends and family. We hope to make it a joyful, memorable time to have fun and spend time with loved ones before the big day!

 

• Friday, September 20th - Wedding Day!

Chapel Information

The drive from Rush Creek Lodge to the Yosemite Chapel takes approximately 45 minutes (25 miles). This estimate does not include chapel/street parking. If local parking is not available, there is a short 0.7-mile walk to the nearest public parking lot called Yosemite Village Parking.

Therefore, we highly recommend leaving no later than 1 PM from Rush Creek Loodge to allow yourself an easy, stress-free journey to the Chapel between 2-2:15 PM. The ceremony begins at 2:30 PM.
